Beauty Tips for Your Wedding
Suggestions About Makeup

Brides want to look beautiful on the day of their wedding.  Planning for the wedding and dressing for the wedding can be one of the most hectic times in your life, but to achieve your glowing look and this will only happen when time is taken in order to care of  yourself and begin any new skin care program.  Be sure that you get enough sleep the night before the wedding, and allow plenty of time to get ready so you will be able to enjoy these special moments. Some weddings can become extremely stressful because adequate time was not allowed for makeup, hair, getting dressed, and the pre-ceremony photographs.

If you do not usually wear makeup, there are many good reasons to consider wearing it on your wedding day.  Properly applied makeup will greatly enhance your appearance in your wedding photographs because it will keep you from looking too pale in your wedding photographs.

Makeup will highlight your best features and mask any flaws without being too obvious.   Our studio can provide a professional makeup artist for the bride or the entire bridal party. (Contact Michael's Photography for information on these professional makeup and styling services.)

If you decide to do your own makeup and are not sure how, there are many knowledgeable a beauty consultant can show you products that best suit your skin and features, but also show you how to best apply those products and give you some hints on the latest trends.  Perhaps most of all you need to practice, practice, and  practice.

Choose a makeup that is close to your skin tone for a natural look and set the makeup with powder to keep it looking fresh longer.  Using a lip liner pencil will help prevent lipstick from running.  Hint:  If you softly color your lips with the pencil under your regular lipstick, the color will last longer.  Don't forget waterproof mascara if there is any chance tears of joy will flow!  Then add soft eye shadow and a touch of blush, and you will be ready for the special event!  Remember the camera sees things differently than the human eye so generally it's a good idea to use heavier makeup than you would wear everyday or even for a big night on the town.
